What is Mental Fitness?

Mental fitness is the ability to handle life’s challenges with a more positive mindset, and less stress. We all manage lots of negative thoughts and emotions that run in the background without much aware of it. These thoughts are the source of almost all of your challenges. Through skill building of simple self-awareness and mindfulness, life becomes more peaceful and satisfying, with great improvements in your overall well-being, your relationships, and your performance in all areas of life.
Understanding your roadblocks.
The survival portions of the brain are active throughout the day and generate negative emotion and thought in an attempt to protect you and propel you forward. The problem is, they limit your access to your innate creativity and wisdom, generate unnecessary stress, and harm your health and relationships.
People with neurodivergent brains and nervous systems are impacted to a greater extent because their nervous systems are quite literally bigger than their neurotypical counterparts. Shame and rejection sensitivity are daily companions that can leave them feeling very stuck.
You may think these stressful habits of thought are the best way to move you into action, but this happens at a great cost. There is a better way.
