What are you committed to doing to invest in yourself?

People with ADHD brains—especially we women—are excellent caregivers and helpers (and sometimes “people pleasers”), sometimes at the sacrifice of our own needs. It’s imperative to our wellbeing to create a habit of making “deposits”, into our self-care that create reserves for those times when we cannot.

Optimally, we are dedicating time daily or weekly for eating well, exercise, relaxation, and pursuing our interests. Some days, that may mean all we can fit in is a few minutes to mindfully enjoy a cup of coffee. The most important aspect is a commitment to the practice of dedicated time where we put ourselves first.
